The inter-museum project “Memory vigil: components of the Leningrad Victory» is launched within the framework of the Great Victory Day in St. Petersburg.

The project will bring together several museum sites of the city where thematic exhibitions reflect various aspects of Leningrad life during the war years: water supply, transport, procurement, camouflage, and medicine.

The project is initiated by Vodokanal’s Universe of Water museum complex.

Along with the Universe of Water, the project participants are: the St. Petersburg Bread Museum, the Central Museum of Russian Railway Transport, the Historical Museum of Armed Forces of the Western Military District (House of Officers of the Western Military District), the Central Museum of Communications named after A.S. Popov, the Military Medical Museum, the City Preventive Medicine Center’s Hygiene Museum, Peter the Great’s Botanical Garden at RAS V.L. Komarov Botanical Institute, the Road of Life Museum (Branch of the Central Naval Museum), and the People’s Museum “The Muses were not silent, however ...” at St. Petersburg School No. 235 named after D.D.
